Well, the water was a little chilly, at least on the North and East Shores, where it was always partly cloudy and pretty windy. We made it to the sunnier South Shore once, to Poipu, but not before a lot of other tourists, so we didn&#039;t go into the water much.
One of my best memories of Maui is bobbing up and down in the warm waves at Makena beach. Maybe we were visiting a little too early in the year to enjoy that on Kauai.
That&#039;s right, there&#039;s not much water in the slideshow!
I guess because we didn&#039;t go in much, and also because I didn&#039;t want my precious camera too close to the water.
I just now added a couple ocean shots: #25 and #28.
